Check the bloggo, for a behind the scenes look as I prepare for my show in Poetter Hall Gallery. The title for the show is "Monstrous Gallimaufry" and runs from 10/2 to 10/26/2007. Check it out when you get a chance. I THINK the reception will be whenever SCAD's Gallery Hop is for the fall quarter - I don't know, I just do what I'm told. Updated the bloggo, and school has commennced! My Fantasy Illustration class made it after all...

My Poetter Hall show goes up on October 2nd - the gallery is on the 2nd floor of Poetter Hall on Bull Street. You can see some things in progress for it here.

I'm happy to announce that my cover illustration for the Discovered Anthology (for SCAD's Sequential Art Department) won an award in the 2007 UCDA Design Competition. You can learn more about the UCDA (University & College Design Association) at their website: http://ucda.com/.

The cover is in my Art section - I've moved it to the very top of my gallery! (And congratulations to Scott Newman, the designer I worked with - the concept for the cover was his idea, and the overall book design was gorgeous!)

All new site design and the Summer is under way! I just got back from visiting the Northeast Kingdom in Vermont with David, where he grew up. I'll post pictures and my sketch journal on my blog, when I get it up and running.
Meanwhile, classes start on June 18th, and I'm teaching two this summer: Materials and Techniques for Sequential Art, and Computer Coloring for Comics. I'll be at Norris Hall on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 to 4:30pm. Maybe I'll see some of you there!
